Picture#1 (Backsplash with arch) Travertine tile set in a brick pattern with arch to complement cabinet arch. Stone and grout are sealed well with Aqua Mix Gold penetrating sealer to prevent staining.


Picture #2 (Duck) The 3" x 6" ceramic brick with very tricky quarter round to frame this stained glass window.


Picture #3 (Floor with mosaic border and medallion corners) Several styles of stone including travertine, polished marble mosaic and polished marble border with medallion corners work well in this bathroom floor.


Picture #4 (Floor with black pencil liner border) The field tile are 20  x 20  with an elegant triple border of dark brown granite cut into 1 inch strips then repeated as an 8inch border next to wall.  This job was designed by Casa Interiors (805)236 7848


Picture #5 (Tub enclosure) Travertine tiles works well with travertine, marble or granite slab with the tub always set after the tile or slab installation


Picture #6 (Backsplash) Composite rope liners and decos complement the 4 x 4 stone tile installation.


Picture #7 (Cafe backsplash) These handmade ceramic tiles are set in a brick or subway pattern with a nice feature  behind the range including an arch that matches the cabinetry above.


Picture #8 (Shower) This beautiful installation was completed using Walker Zanger field tile, liners and decos. A closer look at these tiles reveals a crackled finish giving them an antique look.


Picture #9 (Green tub and shower) Rachel at Pennylane Designs (805)844 5464 designed this stunning bathroom using bottle glass green glass brick and mosaic tiles. The glass block at the front of tub is back lit.


Picture #10 (Floor with black pencil liner) 18 x 18 limestone tiles were used in this entry with a 5/8 black granite pencil liner to border a diagonally set pattern. Notice the matching limestone slab treads at the stairwell.


Picture #11 (Limestone tub face) Differant sizes of limestone tiles were used with marble slab tub deck.


Picture #12 (Bathroom floor) This material is an 18 x 18 chisel edge unfilled travertine with a large range of colors.  A beautiful Tuscan style bathroom was created using this material.


Picture #13 (Shower/tub) Frameless shower glass allows you to see the beauty in this travertine installation.  Notice the mosaic tile and moulding feature that caps the tub splash and continues into the shower stall.  Sometimes this feature can also be the same height as the backsplash for the vanity, creating a level line around the entire perimeter of the bathroom.


Picture #14 (Shampoo niche) Niches are always a nice feature in any shower or tub stall.  Sometimes surface set porcelain or composite shampoo shelves or soap dishes can be used.


Picture #15 (Marble mosaic) This hexagon marble mosaic made a beautiful platform for a soaking tub.


Picture #16 (Backsplash) Features behind stoves come in almost infinite variety.  This rope moulding with glass and stone combination mosaic is perfect for this kitchen.


Picture #17 (Slate Floor) Gauged slate was used on this floor with a matching hexagon mosaic border.
