I had to write and thank you for the outstanding tile work you
installed in my master bathroom. This entire process of remodeling
my master bedroom has been a huge headache, except for you and
your workers. If I could, I wish I could send other contractors to
your school of professionalism. It is also very evident that your
employees follow by example, and were clean, courteous and
wonderful to work with.

I wish I was brave enough to continue tearing my home apart and
have you retile my entire house! Please feel free to use me as

Now the next step in learning how to lay out tile properly. I want you to lay out the tile. This is an easy step but again you need to do this by taking your time and watching detail you want to try and use as many full sheets as possible. Remember before we had marked the cement board. Well know this where these marks really help out. When using a tile contractor or mason for your tile or floor needs he will make sure that this is done properly to ensure a beautiful floor or shower and bathroom room tile. I prefer the mosaic tiles and would pick out the perfect color and design for your bathroom, shower or kitchen. So lay the center section first. Let me stop you there. When you lay tile you want to make sure that the tile is square to the room or area. This is really important when laying travertine tile in North Ranch I saw tile that the contractor or homeowner missed this step and the tiles were crooked. Not a good look for such an exquisite home whether It is in thousand oaks or Agoura hills or Calabasas. .I always suggest that you work in small sections. That way you can take your time fitting out the tiles and spreading the adhesive. There it is the next key adhesive. You always want to spread the adhesive smoothly and evenly with a square-notched trowel. You want the adhesive to be about as thick as the tiles you’re working with. Remember I said small sections, that is why the next step makes sense. Spread as much adhesive as you can work with before it dries. Oh small sections I get it. Yes that is why. Everyone tries to do to much and well the adhesive starts setting up and you have a problem don’t you. So small is good and small is better when laying tile. Next you want to set the first sheet of tiles into place and press it firmly into the adhesive. You want to make sure that the sheet is square when laying the tile. For the second sheet, remember to line up the pattern and check the spacing and then set it into place. Work around the room until the entire center of the floor is covered. This pretty easy for someone that is doing this all of the time but when you need a professional make sure you get a tile contractor with experience and some one that has referrals that you can call to make sure.
